The weather was rather changeable throughout the weekend which made the crossing to Beaulieu interesting, especially for the smaller vessels. We arrived at Beaulieu in the afternoon and were rafted on the visitor's platform. Five crews attended and after we had settled decided it was time for a well-earned drink at the Master Builders.
We later stumbled upon a proms night that was being held at the marina in aid an Alzheimer's charity in which there was a full band, waving flags, fish & chips and Prosecco flowing. After it was back on board some of the boats for more drinks and socialising.
The weather on Sunday was again rather changeable with some of the group heading back and others staying on to enjoy more of Beaulieu and the surrounding New Forest.
