PATHFINDER POWERBOAT CLUB

Pathfinder Powerboat Club welcomes motorboat owners whether novice or experienced. The Club’s objective is to provide opportunities for you to expand your horizons and develop your boating skills in the company of others. Indeed, one of the Club’s strengths is the willingness of its more experienced members to provide support and encouragement to others, both on and off the water.

While seamanship and safely afloat is of paramount importance there is also an emphasis on simply having fun and enjoying being out on the water. There is an excellent social atmosphere when everybody gets together for a meal at the end of another great day afloat.

There is no limit on size or type of boat. Club members own Sports-boats, Sports-cruisers, cuddies, open deck or RIBs - many on trailers while others kept afloat on moorings. However, to fully partake in all activities we recommend that member boats should at least be capable of cruising at 20 Knots or more.

The Club maintains a programme of events afloat from April to October, at varying locations around the south coast with a very active cruising calendar from which members can pick and choose. The events range from one day or weekends to 3 days bank holiday events or in some case up to 2 weeks. Members can choose where and when to join as time and conditions permits.

Pathfinder Powerboat Club is a non-profit organisation and is served by Committee members who offer their time and expertise up freely. Membership is on a per boat basis. If you are interested in joining or would like more details then please use the contact form to get in touch with the Membership Secretary.
